Here at Goodshop, we like to think we have the most powerful coupons on the planet. You get to shop every month, save money and donate to a nonprofit or charity. But because giving back is timeless, we think the more causes you know about, the more you can support them!
So here are four causes to learn more about and help raise money for, simply by shopping this month!
Black History Month
Black History Month, or National African American History Month, is an annual celebration of achievements by black Americans. We can take this month as a reminder to seek out stories and histories that often go overlooked and to recognize various black leaders in our past and present. You shop at and support black owned businesses and influential black nonprofits, such as the NAACP or Black Girls Code.
American Heart Month
Since Valentine’s Day is this month, it’s especially fitting that February is also American Heart. The American Heart Association raises awareness about cardiovascular diseases and prevention. You can choose to donate to the American Heart Association by using Goodshop coupons or shop using these Walgreens coupons, these Alex and Ani offers or these BonTon deals.
National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD)
Since 1987, NGWSD is a day to acknowledge the past and recognize current sports achievements, such as the positive influence of sports participation and the continuing fight for equality for women in sports. NGWSD falls on February 7, so be sure to support your local athletic teams as well as all the female athletes competing in the Olympics this year!
National Children’s Dental Health Month
The American Dental Association sponsors National Children’s Dental Health to raise awareness about the importance of oral health. Make sure you and your kids are informed on healthy brushing and flossing routine and care. You can even use these ACT Oral Care coupons and offers or these CVS deals to pick up some floss, toothbrushes or toothpaste.
Are you planning on giving back to your community this month? Which causes do you support? Let us know!
