The Beauty Insider program is an incentive program at Sephora where customers are rewarded for their purchases. It’s broken down into three tiers – Insider, VIB and Rouge. Each tier comes with its own perks like free shipping, exclusive access to products and beauty events, samples, gifts with purchase (GWP), early access to sales and more.
Every calendar year, Sephora updates its Beauty Insider perks during the month of March (details to come). You must spend a minimum pre-tax and before coupons of $350 in one calendar year to achieve VIB status/qualify for all VIB benefits (again, each calendar year), while Rouge members must spend $1,000 in one calendar year.
Insiders must spend a minimum pre-tax and before coupons of $100 in one calendar year to qualify for the Insider benefits (calendar year). There are no minimums to maintain your status/qualify for all Insider benefits.
How do I Join the Sephora Beauty Insider Program?
You automatically join the program when you create an account at Sephora. If you are already a Sephora customer, sign in to your account on sephora.com and go to My Account . You should see a banner that says “Become a Beauty Insider” with a link that takes you to the registration page.
All registered members receive an email from Sephora titled “Howdy, Beauty Insider” that includes their tier status and benefits. The email also provides a link to update your Beauty Bank online or by phone (1-877-SEPHORA). Your account must be active and you must be signed into your account on sephora.com before March 2nd to qualify for the annual Spring Bonus promotion. VIB and Rouge members who maintain their status qualify for the Spring Bonus.
The Beauty Insider program does not affect Sephora’s return policy . While VIB and Rouge members are automatically enrolled in Sephora’s free rewards program, Rewards Bazaar , they must spend $350 annually to qualify for all rewards. You can enroll at any time by signing in to your account on Sephora.com and click My Account > Beauty Rewards . You can enter your birthday when you join or edit it anytime under My Account > Personal Details .
All registered members receive an email from Sephora titled “It’s Your Birthday” that includes their gifts with purchase. Only Insiders earn points online while all members can use points in-store.
You must reach a certain spending threshold at Sephora to qualify for more rewards during the calendar year, while some transactions will only reward you with a Beauty Insider point (online) or a discount offer (in-store). The thresholds are:
